We are delighted to announce that Kids n More have won a 'Top 5 Site' award for the month of June! The Australian E-BIZ awards are sponsored by Solutions Management, a large and well known website and internet marketing firm in Australia.
To win the award, Kids n More had to give the judges the "WOW!" factor - sites that amaze and impress yet still get the information across in an easy to understand format. Needless to say we are very proud of this achievement and thank our members for helping to make Kids n More what it is today! Tonight we have added a major new feature to the site that we are really excited about, and we hope you will be too!

Every Kids n More member now has 1MB of space to add photos they would like to share with our members - and you can add, edit, remove and share them all yourself!

Simply click on the Main Menu option 'Members Photo Gallery' to start your personal album, and read on in this story for full instructions.

The albums are packed full of features and are easy to use. You can keep your album private just for you, or chose only your friends to view it. You can even allow any visitor or only registerd members to view your album - plus it is all there for you to add or remove images any time you like!

This afternoon we have upgraded our forum software! Although there are few changes our members will notice on the surface, the forums are now more efficient and are clear of bugs.

New Features:

Profile changing bug has now been fixed
New ranks incorporating our more addicted users ;)
More secure forums for your personal data
More efficient handling of sessions, making the forums faster for dialup users
Ability to use your Main Site avatar on the boards also

Kids n More are proud to announce that we now have integrated forums! Put simply, this means that you now only need to log in to your account once to access both the main site and the forums, and that new users only need create their account once.

Kids n More are pleased to present two new sections to the website. Clicking on Feature Articles on the Main Menu will take you to the first of a monthly feature article on parenting by award winning Australian author Michael Grose. We are now also offering FREE subscriptions to Michael's popular online parenting course, Twelve Parenting Essentials. You can recieve these great emails (sent weekly) by clicking here or going to 'Online Parenting Courses' under our Resources section.

Welcome to the new look Kids n More - we hope you enjoy the new layout and especially the new features!

I thought that rather than writing many news bulletins about each o­ne, I would write an article explaining all the new features and how to use them.

Exisiting Features:

Discussion Boards - these can now be accessed by the link on the main menu bar on the right. You will still have to create a seperate login for the main section of the site and the discussion boards. However, they can be the same username, or different if you want.

New Features:

Banner Ads - You will notice that there are now banner ads on the main page of the site. If you run a business or have a product to sell, and would like to advertise on our site, please contact us for more information. We can be contacted on sales@kidsnmore.com.Live

Web Chat - Also accessed from the main menu bar, Kids n More now has a live web chat! You can enter in the forums and chose a username for that chat session, then chose a room and chat away. Please note that at this time, users cannot create rooms. If you have a particular room you would like to see, please PM or email admin@kidsnmore.com with your requests and suggestions.

Journal - Kids n More now has a journal area where you can create and update an online journal. You can edit and delete entries at any time, and chose whether your journal is just for you, or make it so anyone can read it. You can also set a mood (via an emoticon) for each entry. Registered users of the site can leave responses to your entries if your Journal is public, but you can delete these any time you like if you do not wish to keep the comments.

Photo Gallery - We now have a photo gallery just for members. In the coming days, we will be intialising a gallery for photos of members and their children. Photo quantity will be limited to 2 per member and they will have a maximum allowable size. Photos must be in .jpg or .gif format. Stay tuned for more details!

Polls - Kids n More Admin will regularly be starting a poll on the main page, and all registered users can vote. You can also view the questions and results from previous polls by clicking on Polls in the main menu bar. If you have a suggestion for a poll question, please PM or email Admin.

Private Messaging - As well as being able to send and recieve private messages on the discussion boards, members can now send and recieve messages on the main site. You no longer have to be registered on the discussion boards to be able to send and recieve messages from other members. A link to your private inbox is located on the light blue toolbard at the top of the page.

Reviews Section - Kids n More want your reviews! Have you found a great nappy, great baby toy, or even been to a movie or resturant lately? The new User Reviews enables members of the site to submit a review for a product or service they used recently, and it will be published on the site.

Web Links - This section will contain links to other sites that Kids n More think would be beneficial to our members. Members can also list their personal homepages here for free. Commercial websites and business contact details can be listed for a small fee, contact sales@kidsnmore.com for more information.

Site Statistics - Wondering about the users of Kids n More? This section contains detailed statistics about our users.

Information and News pages - Starting soon, and as an ongoing project, Kids n More will be compiling a selection of information relevant to their users. You will be able to read these articles and information sheets and ask any questions on the site. If you have any suggestions of areas you would like to see, or you would like to contribute an article, contact admin@kidsnmore.com.

Calender - Kids n More will soon be implementing a calender where users can submit events that other members of the site may be interested in, such as playdates or parenting seminars, or special days out. You will shortly be able to submit your listing to Admin to have it display on the calender displayed on the site. Listings can include time, date, event and contact details, as well as other information.
